Product Description

In your first trimester (first 13 weeks of pregnancy), your baby's neural tube closes and early brain development begins. Formulated by a team of leading OB/GYNs, our 1st Trimester Prenatal Pack delivers foundational nutrition for baby’s most critical early development window, while easing nausea.*

For Baby: DHA and choline support rapid brain development. Calcium and magnesium support growing bones. Iron supports oxygen delivery, and iodine supports healthy thyroid development.*

For Mom: A clinically studied blend of Vitamin B6 and ginger helps reduce occasional nausea, plus iron to support healthy blood volume as your body changes.*

Each Pack Includes:

  • 2x Core Prenatal Vitamins
  • 1x Folate + Anti-Nausea Blend*
  • 1x Omega DHA + EPA

Recommended For: Women in the early stage of pregnancy (weeks 0-13)

Benefits

Supports Baby’s Early Neural Tube Development*

This pack delivers 1,525mcg of methylfolate and 120mg of choline at clinically backed doses,  two nutrients with the highest demand in the first trimester, when the neural tube is forming and early brain development begins.*

Helps Ease Morning Sickness*

More than 70% of pregnant women experience nausea in the first trimester. This pack includes a clinically studied blend of Vitamin B6 and ginger root to help.*

Supports Baby's Brain Development in the Final Stretch

95% of pregnant women don't consume enough Omega EPA and DHA daily from food alone. DHA supports continued brain growth during this peak window as baby's brain development accelerates.*

Supports Healthy Iron Levels for You and Baby

Iron deficiency affects more than 50% of pregnant women. This pack includes Ferrochel® iron, clinically studied for better absorption and gentler digestion than standard iron supplements.

Directions

Take one pack daily with food and a full glass of water. We recommend taking with your largest meal for optimal tolerability.

As with any supplement, consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition or are taking any medications.

23 Key Ingredients

2nd Trimester Prenatal Pack

Methylfolate (5-MTHF) 1,525 mcg DFE as Methylfolate (5-MTHF)

1,525mcg DFE total methylfolate (5-MTHF) per serving, which is 700mcg in the core prenatal capsule plus 825mcg added specifically for the first trimester, when the neural tube closes during weeks 5-6 and folate demand is at its highest.* Methylfolate is the bioavailable form your body absorbs directly, making dose and form critical, especially since more than one-third of pregnant women don't get enough folate from food alone

Iron 16 mg of Iron as Ferrochel® (Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate)

16mg iron per serving as Ferrochel® (ferrous bisglycinate chelate), a chelated iron bound to glycine, clinically studied for superior absorption and gentler on digestion than standard iron forms.* Ferrochel®iron supports red blood cell formation and oxygen delivery to the placenta as blood volume expands during pregnancy.* A 2026 analysis of NHANES data found iron deficiency affects more than half of pregnant women.

Choline 120 mg of Choline as Choline Bitartrate (VitaCholine®)

120mg choline per serving as VitaCholine®, the first choline source clinically studied for bioavailability during pregnancy. 95% of pregnant women don't consume enough choline daily, and most prenatals don't include it. Choline works alongside methylfolate to support early brain development and healthy neural tube development.

Iodine 150 mcg of Iodine (as Potassium Iodide)

150mcg iodine per serving as potassium iodide, at the amount recommended by the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics for all pregnant women daily. Iodine requirements increase by more than 50% during pregnancy to support baby's thyroid development and neurocognitive development, yet 23% of pregnant women fall short on iodine daily.

Vitamin D 2,000 IU (50mcg) Vitamin D (as cholecalciferol)

2,000 IU (50mcg) Vitamin D (cholecalciferol) per serving, at the dose recommended by the Endocrine Society for pregnant women and supported by a 2018 systematic review of 24 randomized clinical trials including 5,405 pregnant women. Vitamin D supports calcium absorption, bone development, and immune function for both mom and baby, yet up to 50% of pregnant women have insufficient Vitamin D levels, even in sunny climates.

Vitamin B6 Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate and Pyridoxins Hydrochloride)

25mg Vitamin B6 per serving combined with the 3mg of vitamin B6 as Pyridoxal 5-Phosphate in the core prenatal for a total of 28mg daily. B6 is studied in multiple placebo-controlled trials for its role in reducing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Ginger Root Powder300mg Ginger Root Powder

300mg ginger root powder per serving, at a dose within the range studied in peer-reviewed RCTs during pregnancy. ACOG recommends ginger as a nonpharmacological treatment for nausea and vomiting of pregnancy. It’s traditionally used to support digestive comfort and relieve occasional nausea.

Omega-3 (DHA and EPA) 250mg DHA + 100mg EPA

250mg DHA + 100mg EPA per serving in triglyceride form, the higher-bioavailability format shown in research to absorb more effectively than the ethyl ester form found in most supplements. At a dose consistent with ACOG recommendations, omega-3s support baby's developing brain, eyes, and nervous system from the earliest weeks of pregnancy.* EPA supports DHA's transfer across the placenta, yet most prenatal omega-3 supplements don't include it.

Do these prenatal vitamins contain folic acid?

We use Methylfolate, the active form of folic acid, which is clinically proven to increase serum folate levels.

Since folate is crucial for early pregnancy, it was important to our medical panel to include the most bioavailable form of folate possible—in the form of Methylfolate in our prenatal vitamin formulas. "Folic acid is less expensive, [which] leads to the terms folate and folic acid being interchangeable," says Dr. Amber Samuel, a maternal-fetal medicine doctor and Perelel Panel member. "We know that while everyone has to convert folic acid for it to be useful, [it's] an added step, decreasing bioavailability. And some women cannot due to MTHFR mutations."

      Are Perelel products third-party tested?

Yes, we complete third-party testing on all of our products to confirm purity and potency. All of our vitamins are made in FDA Registered and Inspected Facilities, which meet FDA 21 CFR 111 guidelines and are also cGMP Certified. All raw materials for our vitamins are tested directly prior to production to ensure their purity and quality. COAs are performed on every batch of manufactured vitamins to ensure final product integrity and quality, which includes testing for heavy metals, microbes, allergens and contaminates. We then complete third-party testing for heavy metals, microbes and potency to confirm our products are safe under USP standards.  In addition, our pre and postnatal formulas have earned us certification from the Clean Label Project, a leading nonprofit that sets one of the industry's highest standards for consumer transparency. We’re proud to have earned Clean Label Project’s highest honor, the Purity Award!
